Share, create, collaborate...

In line with my ambition to actively others to access, evaluate, and organize information in order to understand it, create with it, and share it with others, I hope to enthusiastically and compassionately teach through inquiry-based learning to help others develop critical thinking and collaboration skills.

Inquiry-based Learning
"Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand."
My students will recognize that:
  • Involvement leads to understanding
  • Involvement requires the possession of the necessary skills and attitudes needed to seek resolutions to questions and issues
  • New knowledge is constructed as a result of involvement
Critical Thinking
(based on the ideas of Eisenberg's Big 6 and Bloom’s Taxonomy)
My students will actively and skillfully gather information from observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, and communication in order to:
  • Conceptualize it
  • Apply it
  • Analyze it
  • Evaluate it
  • Synthesize it
  • Present it
Collaboration
My students will work together towards a goal to develop:
  • Cooperation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Empathy
  • Responsibility
