Google Sites WebsiteA collaborative effort for a library services project the goal of this project was to help middle school students in Michigan learn about, structure, and practice debates. The site provides information from a variety of sources including websites, videos, magazines, and books with links to multiple topics ranging from the history of debate, to strategies for structuring a debate, to current debate examples. The site helps the user become familiar with debate guidelines, gain confidence in choosing and researching a debate topic, and develop skills for practicing and polishing a debate performance.
