About Me

Picture
Picture
The knowledge I have gained from museum visits throughout my life has stuck with me more than any other information that has been shared with me. The combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic presentations of information accompanied by relevant artifact assures that every type of learner gains knowledge that helps them to better understand new concepts. My goal is to help knowledge seekers easily access information in order to learn from it, create with it, and share it with others.

My academic background has equipped me with a foundation in archival principles, including the appraisal, arrangement, and description of diverse materials. My experience as a librarian and district department chair has honed my cataloging, collection development, and organizational skills, essential for managing extensive archival collections. As a seasoned teacher and conference presenter, I also bring an exuberance of sharing interesting and engaging resources to inform and to inspire.
